Discovering Identity (kingdom Identity)

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:13‭-‬14‭, ‬16‭-‬19 KJV
-19.KJV

In the kingdom, knowing Him is knowing yourself. This is how you discover your true, godly, kingdom identity. Notice the exchange between Peter and Jesus. When Peter has the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, look at what he was rewarded with. Jesus looked into the DNA and the future of Peter, pointed his finger and said, “YOU ARE PETER (Peter means “rock”) and on THIS rock I will build my church.”

When Peter discovered who Jesus was, he discovered who he was (identity) and what he was born for (destiny). This is true kingdom identity! This moment would stay with Peter for the rest of his life, no doubt for the hard times, but to also give thanks in the satisfied moments of his life’s work. God wants the same for you and make this invitation to answer the question, “Who do you say that I am?” How you answer will unlock identity and destiny – Get ready!

Make Room for the New (KINGDOM IDENTITY)

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19 KJV

We all want situations and people aroundus to change, but rarely do we see those areas change. In fact, many times when I have brought these kind of concerns up in prayer, the response from the Lord is, “Son, if you want them or that to change, then you need to change.” The “new” we are wanting around has to first take root inside of us. So here’s a question we need to ask when wanting people and things to change – “Am I making room for the new?” The excitement of new is thrilling, but we need to set a standard inside of ourselves when it comes to new.

“New” is not repackaging what you already have, it’s pioneering something fresh in your life! When you begin to desire “NEW,” everything changes – priorities, standards, and focuses. A hunger for “NEW” will give you an appetite for unfamiliar territory and will make the impossible look attractive. The hunger for new can be a gift if you are willing to change. Starting today, give yourself permission to make room for the new!

The power of Hiddenness (KINGDOM IDENTITY)

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1‭-‬3 ESV

The Power of Hiddenness

Hidden seasons are sacred seasons. Being hidden with Christ means you will go through seasons where you feel like your whole life is under construction. Many times we feel buried, but we must remember that hidden seasons produce strengths that unveiling seasons cannot. Assets like character, authority, wisdom, boldness, vision, morality, special talents are not developed while everyone is watching. I’m sure we all could agree of how grateful we are for the small circle of people who have played key roles in these seasons of our lives, because the building process is not always beautiful but chaotic.

When you squeeze an orange, what do you get? Orange juice. When you squeeze a grape, what do you get? Grape juice. When life, tests, and relationships squeeze you, what do they get? Frustration, mediocrity, and weakness or focus, courage, and strength? Hidden seasons are where the pressing and pruning happen in our lives. If you’re experiencing the loving pressing and pruning of the Lord, I’ve got great news for you, friend. You’ve not been BURIED, you’ve been HIDDEN! Hidden seasons are sacred seasons because that’s where lasting growth is built. STAY HIDDEN!!!

Walk in the Love of God | Christian Music Video 2018 “Where Is My Home” (Heart-touching Theme Song)
With my tiny paper and brush, I paint a little house.
Momma’s inside the house, Daddy is inside too.
My sister and I are playing in the sunlight.
We all feel warm as the sun shines on us.
Momma is smiling, Daddy smiles too.
Sisters are grinning, we are all beaming.
This is my family here, painted on my paper.
A picture in my dreams. It is all in my dreams.
Picking up my tiny suitcase, I go to a strange place.
Daddy is inside but Momma is outside.
Picking up my tiny suitcase, I go to a home I once knew.
Momma is inside, Daddy’s outside.
Holding tightly to my suitcase, I wander the roads.
Feeling alone, not sure where to go.
My tiny suitcase here is my only company.
This is my only home, the home I can’t escape.
Where is my home? Oh where could it be?
In such a great world, yet there is nowhere for me.
Who can deliver me to the home in my dreams,
the one in my drawing, the one of my dreams?
Where is my home? Oh where could it be?
In such a great big world, there is still no home for me.
Who can give me a cozy home, the home in my drawings,
the home in my dreams, home in my dreams?
Here, I have a home. I have a home.
But it’s not the one I drew on my paper.
It’s not my little suitcase, it’s the place that I dream of.
Mom and Dad are inside, my sister and I are too.
It is the home where our souls can finally rest,
the home full of glory, full of glory and hope.
It is the home (it is the home)
where our souls can finally rest (souls can finally rest),
the home full of glory, full of glory and hope.
It is a home full of glory, home full of glory, glory and hope.

Who Are You Looking At?

Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalms 3:1-3 (KJV)

Your worldview about things in life can affect you either positively or negatively. As a child of God, be quick to learn every day from observation, experience, and occurrences in life. Don’t be ignorant about the truth: you will always have enemies because we are living in a dark world. You will also have families or friends at one point or another. Your enemies have one thing in mind: to steal, kill, and destroy you, John 10:10. Your families or friends are there to help you; remember also that they can be used by the devil to make your life miserable. Having this knowledge will guide you not to complain but help you to get closer to God. Make God your shield, glory, and lifter of your head and the devil will fail even when he uses your enemies, families, friends or even the church against you. Hallelujah! Be An Overcomer!

HOLINESS IS THE REAL DEAL!

We can speak in tongues and miss heaven.

We can “win souls” and miss heaven.

We can see vision and miss heaven.

We can prophesy and still miss heaven.

We can cast out devil and miss heaven.

We can perform miracles and still miss heaven.

We can read the whole Bible and miss heaven.

We can attend all church services, fellowship activities and camp meetings and miss heaven.

We can have anointing and miss heaven.

We can have all spiritual gifts and miss heaven.

We can be rich, prosperous and wealthy and still miss heaven.

We can give and sow seeds and still miss heaven.

We can wield power and be influential and still miss heaven.

We can have a powerful voice to sing and miss heaven.

But we cannot LIVE A HOLY LIFE and miss heaven.

HOLINESS IS THE REAL DEAL!

“Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 20:7)

“O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.” (Psalm 96:9)

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14)

Let us win a soul for Christ. Amen!

Charity

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV)

Faith, hope, and charity, are important virtues of Christianity. By faith we believe that God exist, hope gives us expectation and drive to move on, charity or love is a physical demonstration of an inner work. Charity or love is the greatest because through charity or love faith and hope makes sense to us. A very good example is the coming of Jesus Christ to the world to redeem man from sin; this is an outward manifestation of the love of God which makes sense our faith and hope in God. Dear reader, which of the three: faith, hope, and charity, is the greatest? Share your thoughts with other readers!
